Psalm 118:5-6 NLT
In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?
May New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, find itself in the gracious and spacious place of God’s deliverance, where fear is replaced with freedom and trials are met with triumphant peace. In times of pressure, may the community cry out and feel the immediate presence of the Lord, drawing them out of narrow places into His vast expanse of safety and blessing.
Let the Lord's unfailing presence be a constant reassurance to New Bethlehem, embedding in its heart the courage to say, “I will not be afraid.” May this assurance embolden its people, inspiring acts of bravery, kindness, and communal solidarity that reflect their trust in God’s unwavering protection.
In every street, home, and gathering place within New Bethlehem, may the question, “What can mere mortals do to me?” echo not as a challenge, but as a declaration of profound faith in the God who stands with them. Let this conviction unify the community, fostering a spirit of resilience and mutual support that rises above the trials of this world.
May New Bethlehem thrive under the canopy of God’s care, its people walking hand in hand, strengthened by the knowledge that they are never alone. Let the community grow not just in numbers, but in love, joy, and the fearless pursuit of collective well-being, guided by the protective hand of the Lord.
Blessed be New Bethlehem, sheltered by God’s presence and fortified by His promise of deliverance. May its residents live in the spaciousness of His grace, where fear has no hold, and the future is approached with hopeful hearts, knowing that in every circumstance, God’s love and protection are theirs.
